Seeing "This Video is unavailable" error code 0
Just these few days, I am seeing "this video is unavailable" error code :0
The videos were playing within app well, but did anything change at YouTube end?
Anyone having the same issue, or is it just me?
Turning off VPN or threat protection didn't help either, it seems like a systematic error.
My app is an iOS app and we use YouTubeKit to play videos uploaded at my own channel.
So I was able to do a workaround by official YouTube SDK, which seems to have been archived since September 2024 and get the video played in my iOS app. Obviously, it was because getting the video displayed and shown to users were way more important than performance or synthx improvements.
However, it seems YouTubeKit, which I would prefer to rely on because of its performance and functionalities is having this error, would love to get this fixed.
I am suspecting there could be some policy changes at YouTube end that disrupts the usage, or maybe I am missing something in my implementation?
Having the same issue and getting many emails of users not able to play YouTube vidoes.
