Disable Story Sections working intermittently

Description

Disable Story Sections > Discover enabled, typically works fine when I initially open Snapchat, discover often reappears after going to a different part of the app and returning or closing and reopening the app. Usually requires an app refresh to fix, but this only works intermittently.

Running on GrapheneOS

Reproduction steps

1. Switch on Hide Story Sections > Discover
2. Open Snapchat
3. View story page (typically functional here)
4. Leave story page or close app
5. Return to story page (typically broken here)

Provide logs also have you tried stock android? Maybe graphene specific

I have not tried stock Android as I do not own any stock android devices. If you or someone else is running SE on stock, we could give it a try to see if it works.
