I know that this topic is one year old but I have ported and maintained the open-vm-tools for Solaris 11 x86 (11.3 and 11.4) two years ago for the company...
I have made some tests today to check the drivers included. I already know that the network driver for vmxnet and vmxnet3 are ok because I have been using them....
Call to iec_if->configure() is missing in method IecPrinter::effectuate_settings. This prevent IEC interface to know about device ID change at runtime. I will create a pull request to fix this
Fix tested successfully on Ultimate II (Risc V) and Ultimate II+ Created pull request #466
Better pull request created #467 to avoid an old commit seen on pull request #466. Pull request #466 has been discarded.
