I found this solution somewhere, no idea how it works but solved my problem twice, Delete the files under /data/apex/active/* Reboot It might work.
I am on gnome 47 wayland as well. no button is accessable through touch ? Any solutions ?
found a workaround: use flag: --vo x11 or put in mpv.conf: vo=x11 some issues are there though....

I did it, didn't work the 1st time around. For a different reason I cloned the app, than deleted the clone and gave storage permission again and if worked. BUT...
I think the bigger concern is how the actual decryption key would be stored and where.
