Video Playback with VLC doesn't update progress under videos or resume from where we watched last.

Steps to reproduce

1. Right click on video and play with VLC.
2. Close the video and come back again later to resume from where you have last watched
3. The progress bar under the video doesn't update until where we have seen.

Expected behavior

In the past I was able to resume the videos from "Continue Watching" pane when playing videos with VLC. The videos themselves also had the progress updated when playing with VLC, but this is not happening with latest beta.

Actual behavior

The progress for the videos isn't updated. The videos doesn't resume from where we last watched.
