Compact view

Hi.

I really enjoy using the app so far, it is a great front-end for FreshRSS.

Would you consider adding a "compact" view in the app?

  • When using Readrops, I can fit 7 articles on my screen.
  • When using the Web version of FreshRSS (with Swage theme), I can fit 14 articles on my screen.

This compact view could display only the article titles, while the detailed view shows title + feed name + feed category + date + reading time.

Thanks.

For me, the current item layout for FreshRSS is already compact, as the local account layout can have three lines of description.

If removing feed category/date/reading time would be okay, I don't think removing the feed name is a good idea. Having only a title could be really confusing.

Hello I've been using Flym but I'm looking for a replacement that integrates with a self-hosted aggregation server. Readro seems like a great candidate. But I was also felt the current view is a bit busy (while, otherwise, the visual design look great!) and displaying a lot of info. Coming from Flym, I would love a 'medium' compactness, which displays:

  • Image miniature (probably smaller than current - maybe cropped square)
  • Article title
  • Site/publisher title
  • Article date

So no: favicon, folder name, description, ~last refresh (?)~ reading time
