[Please clarify docs about [email protected]]
Hello, I am reading the changelog of [email protected] and there is nothing mentioned about the merge of eslint-plugin-react-compiler into eslint-plugin-react-hooks? I remember that this was announced some months ago? Was this postponed and should we still use two separate npm libraries in this case? It is unclear in the changelog and also not mentioned in the blogpost? https://react.dev/blog/2025/10/01/react-19-2?ck_subscriber_id=3276803882&utm_source=convertkit&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=%E2%9A%9B%EF%B8%8F%20This%20Week%20In%20React%20#eslint-plugin-react-hooks
I got very confused by this. It turns out that as of 6.1.0 the rules based on the compiler are present, but they need to be enabled individually. See https://github.com/facebook/react/pull/34672#issuecomment-3358613980.
It looks like in the next release they will be enabled by default in the recommended preset: https://github.com/facebook/react/pull/34675
