Description
When I open Android Studio from my dock or directly by clicking on the icon, it gives the following error
Caused by: java.io.IOException: Cannot run program "node" (in directory "/Users/arslanmushtaq/Desktop/projects/tempo/react-native-client/android"): error=2, No such file or directory
and when I open the terminal and enter the following command:
open -a /Applications/Android\ Studio.app
It detects the node directory and starts syncing and building the project and later on the issue is resolved but the problem exists for every initial run of every react-native project
Reproducible Demo
Follow the steps for creating the reproducible demo
Pre-requisites: You should have an M1 Macbook with iTerm Rosetta Enabled
- Create a new
react-native-cliproject - Open the project in Android Studio (NOT FROM TERMINAL)
