The peerDependencies for react in @hookform/devtools do not match react-hook-form

The peerDependencies for react in @hookform/devtools do not match react-hook-form.

node version = v16.15.1 npm version = v8.11.0

We are using react v16 and we can install react-hook-form but with npm v8 trying to install @hookform/devtools throws an error.

npm ERR! Could not resolve dependency:
npm ERR! peer react@">=17.0.2" from @hookform/[email protected]

The peerDependencies for react-hook-form

  "peerDependencies": {
    "react": "^16.8.0 || ^17 || ^18"
  },

The peerDependencies for @hookform/devtools

"peerDependencies": {
    "react": ">=17.0.2",
    "react-dom": ">=17.0.2",
    "react-hook-form": "^7.13.0"
  },

Please make the peerDependencies of @hookform/devtools match react-hook-form
