I'm also strongly interested in this feature. Is there anything I can do to speed this up? If I had not noticed this PR, I would essentially have created a very similar one myself.

I do not have the time to complete update to readme and rspec tests atm...

When I do I, will complete this pull request (unless someone else has merged this feature)...
