Blank segment where ad is supposed to be

AdBlock script/mechanism is not content-aware enough to hide it. A good example of implementation of this is the 1DM internal browser which I use in downloading HLS playlist content. It can filter out blocks where advertisment content is supposed to be.

The feature is called cosmetic filtering. I'd appreciate it if you added it.
