Does this add-on really support Firefox for Android?

I am on Android12, Firefox for Android 68.11. This addon is listed in firefox's very limited add-on list (though not in the "recommended" list), but after installing I found it does not work. 526322796

It works on Firefox Android 110.1.0 (I use the Fennec F-Droid variant where one can install addons not selected by Mozilla).

Due to add-on and about:config issue I will stick to v68.11. I have find an alternative: https://gitlab.com/ntninja/user-agent-switcher . This one works.

Most of addons work on the latest Firefox Android, including FireMonkey.

Does about:config work?

about:config works in Beta and Nightly for official builds, but not for stable builds for the time being. I use Fennec F-Droid, which activates this by default (the same for "non-recommended" add-ons: you cannot use them under official stable builds for the time being).

I've tried Fennec browser from F-droid. Yes it suppports about:config, but it only support a very limited list of addons, just like firefox for android, and does not support xpi addon installing. "file:/// "address is not supported, and no context menu for xpi file.

https://blog.mozilla.org/addons/2020/09/29/expanded-extension-support-in-firefox-for-android-nightly/ for installation of "non-supported" addons.
