Auto restart Windows after the installation is complete

I have a case where I update a service (part of the solution and the update but not the main EXE). I am able to kill the service before the update but cannot restart it after the update (it might need command line arguments that are unknown to me). The only way I can think of restarting the service is by restarting the guest operating system.

Can we add a parameter to the library, like "Restart after update" : 0 - No, 1 - Optional, 2 - Mandatory that after extracting the files should honor the restart parameter?
