Fixed markdown to render correctly on GitHub

GitHub updated their Markdown engine (I think around a year ago) and as a result this README (and many others) were visually broken. For example, #BLARG does not work now, but # BLARG does. Anyway, I fixed this README to render correctly on GitHub.
