Hello ,@ramack I want contribute to ActivityDiary r so i designed a new logo for ActivityDiary and it's free.

I hope you like it. If you like it, I will send you pull request, editable files/original source and .png format files. If there's something you want to change, I'll do it.

I am not a designer but a programmer, so graphical support is really appreciated. Pleas take a look to preveious logo and icon discussions. E.g. in#120 and there was other AFAIK. The current pics are not the very best, but I also think they are acceptable and new images should fit into the style...

I don't know what you mean with "gorgeous style". For sure every proposal is allowed, but don't be disappointed if it will not make it in. Also I cannot really follow what you write... In the first comment you said you "designed a new logo" (past) now you say you "will make" one (future).

Also make sure to read and agree to the "Authors and Contribution" section in the readme, including the references and if you want some early feedback, just put a draft here, before investing too much time.

First of all Sorry fort the delay, yesterday was too busy to care about free software.

But let's come the the icons. They are really nice, you are talented! Personally I like 9 best.

Your proposals focus on the diary aspect which is reasonable, but I am not sure whether this covers the (planned) functionality of the App. You know the target is to not only have a data store of what you did, as it is with the classical book, but to also interpret the data and indicate if some activity should reaccur soon. And even connect actions like increasing the volume while 'gardening' and keeping the phone quiet while sleeping...

This is what I would like the icon to represent in some way.

The orange monochrome one looks even better than the colored version - while the background and shade have a nicer color in the full colored variant, I'd say. Maybe you can also exchange one of the activities by a book (to remind of the diary) - the triangle and the circle look quite abstract to me... Maybe a flower (to remind of gardening) a planer or saw (to indicate woodworking), or a football (playing), or a pan (cooking) could be used instead? Or a film for the cinema?

What I like especially, is that it looks as it would smoothly integrate into the material design icons, so we could keep the pen, photo etc. Do you also have an idea for the feature graphic? Or maybe the symbols in https://github.com/ramack/ActivityDiary/tree/master/artwork/icons ?

Also about the orange: I have chosen it initially because I did not have another orange styled app, and I personally like the color being a differentiation feature. I am already used to it but it does not necessarily stay like that, feel free to suggest another color schema if you think it is better.

Orange I think is the best color scheme for the App Sir. :) I personally love it and about the symbols in the app it is already good Sir.

I like that one! Maybe the shadow is a bit dark...

Can you then make a pullrequest? - but be sure to check the licensing and all the legal stuff in the readme and referenced documents before and send a PR only if you accept it.

I have a few more topics, before I wanna close this ticket:

• I'd like to mention you as contributor in the "About" page - actually I have added already you github name and a link to your profile there. Anyhow, I'd prefer to honor you with your real name, and an URL at your wish, please tell me what you'd like to have there
• in the navigation drawer I have to icons for "select activity" and "history/diary" which are based on the old feature graphics "timeline" and are therefore "outdates". Are you willing to propose something new here, also? (For the diary I think the book with the watch seems a good choice)
• Initially I had the plan to put a symbol to each activity, while you have already put 3 activity symbols in the logo... Using symbols could potentially remove the need to the different activities in so "agressivly different" colors. - I guess this is something long running and we can probably use many of the icons from the material design collection but for some it might be good to have a few new ones. Could you imagine to help here, also?

I'll happily merge the PR with those, but it will take some time, until I can work on #33, as there are really higher priorities topics to handle fist. Cannot even promise to make it for 1.4, and 1.3 is also not yet out...
