Total breakage from 1.5.4 update
I just updated to v1.5.4 from the App Store and it seems to simply not work at all. (This is on iPadOS 17.6.1 on an 11-inch 3rd gen iPad Pro.)
Tapping the icon results in:
and opening the app gives
Note that it gives its own version as v0.0.0 (0).
After that, nothing—it remains prompting to open the app. I tried changing the scripts directory with no effect.
So in other words, all my userscripts just totally stopped and I have no workarounds. Please help.
Sorry, I checked the relevant code but I have no clue why v0.0.0 (0) is showing.
This is actually a bit weird, since CURRENT DIRECTORY displays correctly.
I have absolutely no idea what is going on on your device without any debugging information.
For reference, what version did you upgrade to v1.5.4 from?
Will the same thing happen if you try to uninstall/remove the app, then restart the device, then reinstall/download it from the App Store?

We have found a possible cause for the display of v0.0.0 (0).
But this should have nothing to do with the initialization process, so I'm still not sure why your popup is still showing the welcome screen.
Did you reopen the extension popup in Safari after opening the App (for initialization)?
What if you kill the Safari and try again? Does popup still display the welcome interface?
Does the folder opened by clicking Userscripts App Documents contain your scripts or a demo script?
Are there any logs or crash reports for this app that can be found in iOS Analysis and Improvement?
What version of iOS (iPadOS) are you using?
Do you have a Mac device to help you get more log information?
