Immersive Portals (v0.16) Causing Start-Up Crashes on Client-Side Minecraft 1.16.5 (Forge 36.1.31)

The latest Forge version of Immersive Portals (version 0.16) causes a start-up crash on client-side Minecraft 1.16.5 (Forge 36.1.31). If I try to load it on a server with the same version of Forge, there's no problem. The crash only happens on the client.

I get this error: image

No crash report appears when it crashes, so here's the client-side debug log for you if that helps at all. debug.log
