Hotkey doesn't work after Suspend

OS: Linux Mint 17.3

After suspending (Menu -> Shutdown -> Suspend) the Hotkey CTRL+D doesn't work anymore, nothing happens. But when i try to start Mutate it says "Mutate is already running" but still the Hotkey doesn't work anymore and I can't use Mutate anymore.
