sourceRoot ignored

It seems that sourceRoot is not prepended to sources as described in https://docs.google.com/a/beroux.com/document/d/1U1RGAehQwRypUTovF1KRlpiOFze0b-_2gc6fAH0KY0k/edit?hl=en_US# isn't that an issue? I would have thought most tools to do that.
