[Question] Stalling Behavior in RoB-less Network Interfaces

I have a question regarding the behavior of a Network Interface (NI) without a Reorder Buffer (RoB). In a RoB-less NI, do requests to different destinations experience stalls?

Are there specific conditions under which stalling occurs? For example:

  • If a master sends requests to two different destinations with different IDs, will they proceed without stalling?
  • If a master sends requests to two different destinations with the same ID, will they be stalled?

I would appreciate any insights on the conditions that influence stalling in a RoB-less NI.
