Always first channel displayed
Hi, I'm using latest plex server and latext nextpvr on windows, but I have issues with the plugin. It seems that even if I select different channels from live I always get the first channel in channel list. If I select first channel list and then the desired everything works ok. This with firefox.
With iOS Plex app instead, I can't get a decent stream no matter what quality I choose. Some time in the past this issue started, while before I could stream without problems through my iOS app.

Am I the only one to experience this? The plex server runs on a nuc7i5 which can transcode even a 1080p stream...
I just took this image of a 1080i don-t stream (h.264) on an iPhone. Most of the resolution settings are left out which means it’s negotiated between server or device.
What do the Plex server logs say about the stream?
Are you local or remote from your server?
@jeanpaulrh Did you ever get a resolution to the issue in the title? I always get the first channel displayed in Plex also.
@damianfears how are you viewing, android app, ios, apple tv? I thought it was hitting the play button on the web view from the channel list, rather than getting into the channel then hitting play.

I'm using on a LG Smart TV 55 OLED B7 which only gives me the channel list to play items. It doesn't take me to the channel itself.
This happens in Chrome: If I hit the play button from the channel list, it plays the first item in the list. If I click on the Channel - it takes me to a single list with only one channel - so it plays the first item okay there. Is there any way around this?
So take me through it. I just did it on my iPhone and it went nextpvr, live, tv1, then into a screen with play.
3 clicks including entering the plugin.
If you are able to click a play button at my second stage (ie after the live button is clocked and the list of channels is display). Then I believe that is the issue.
Post me the Plex nextpvr log.

that's right, I have a play button in Channel List
If I play from here, it always plays fox footy. If I click into the channel and press play:
it plays the correct channel.
On my TV - it plays directly from the channel list.

This was after clicking on the Play button for FOX LEAGUE in the Channel List (Third item in the list), Played FOX FOOTY:
Unfortunately I think it's a client issue that I'm not sure I can do anything about. Something about the requested channel when play is hit from the channel list is giving me the wrong identifier.
Does the live menu experience the same issue?

It's weird, works on Android Phone, just not Chrome and my LG TV. Is there any way to just display all channels when entering the plugin, without any menu hierarchy?
Like just the live menu with nothing else?
Have a look in the settings for [image: image.png] Then exist and re-enter....It should just show you that option and nothing else....

Yeah - same issue with LiveTV. This doesn't work in Chrome for what it's worth.
Going to re-work the iTunes Movie Trailer plugin as that works correctly at each level. I'll post something if I can fix it.
Unfortunately I 'dont have a nextpvr instance any more. So I can't really test it or fix it. Sorry.
