Hello,

like the title says: Manually sort folders doesn't work with TB 139.0 and is inactive... (Linux Manjaro)

Thunderbird v139 has the ability to manually sort folders by dragging them in the folder pane. (I implemented this feature.)

Try it out!

Is there currently a way to manually sort the accounts themselves in the folder pane, or is sorting limited only to folders within each account?

The order of accounts in the folder pane can only be changed in "Account Settings." This cannot be done in the folder pane.

I'm on v140 now, but it seems not to be working for Virtual Folders. Can you add this too?

I don't use virtual folders, but I just created one in v141 and tested it. It worked just like normal folders, as expected. There are bugs in 139/140, so I recommend upgrading to 141. (Though, I think the fix will be backported to 140 as well.)

By the way, I don't think here is the right place to discuss the manual folder sorting feature implemented in Thunderbird 139 and later. Let's use the following locations instead:
