Extra rooms created

When I joined one one of my accounts with pre-existing conversations, I got all my channels (good), but also a lot of 1:1 conversations with people I never directly talked to (bad). Those were composed of messages they sent to one of the rooms I'm subscribed to.

I'm connecting to Pantalaimon.

Can you reproduce it without Pantalaimon?

Either way, a few more questions to help me debug:

• What IRC client do you use?
• Could you include raw logs of your client (in particular, I'm interested in PRIVMSG and JOIN commands); make sure to redact anything sensitive. You can email them at the email address in my profile if you don't want to post them publicly.
• Are all messages of encrypted rooms sent as 1:1 conversation, or just some of them? In the latter case, can you identify anything in common that could cause this?

By the way, I tried Pantalaimon last week, and I couldn't get Matrix2051 to connect to it without changing the code. How did you do it?
