Compatibility with screen readers (Talkback)

Open balaraz opened this issue 8 months ago • 0 comments

  1. Context menus for feeds in the side menu and articles in the feed. When you double-tap and hold, a context menu should open and the screen reader's focus should automatically move to the first item in that menu. This does not happen. The menu appears, but the focus does not move anywhere because it is not a pop-up menu for the system. The menu items are available as regular items added to the end of the current screen list. Also, it cannot be closed with a back gesture.
  2. The Search and Settings buttons on the top panel.
    • The names of these buttons are not available for translation.
    • The Settings button has an incorrect name. It would be better to call it Options or More.

  1. Text scaling buttons in settings. The buttons on either side of the text scale slider (-, +) in the program settings do not have any labels available for screen readers. They are not voiced in any way.
