code completion styling

we'll need to do a round of styling for everything, but in discussion with @REAS today we were wondering if the code completion window could:

  • have transparency
  • no border-styling

I also find (Mac OS X 10.8.4 retina) that the code completion window sometimes obscures what I am typing in a way that makes it difficult to use.

I'll investigate how much can be tweaked and let you know. I don't have access to a Mac(or retina) machine these days, so this might be bit of a challenge for me to debug.

@shiffman Can you share a screen shot of how the completion list obscures text? It might be an easy fix if it's just a location issue.

I lowered it slightly with b130d8b1d12bb8a3834785c98b079d216bf2ee9d, and also removed the border around the list. Should improve things.
