PAINFULLY Slow: Pushing Custom Types

Currently, our Slice Library has around ~70 unique slice variations and growing. We use a Custom Type called "Page" that has all 70 slices enabled, but the problem is that it takes ~15 minutes to fully push the Custom Type to Prismic.

The bottleneck seems to be the uploading of the 70 variation previews.

Describe the solution you'd like

Would be great if this was optimized. Do we really need to re-upload a variation preview if that variation's preview screenshot hasn't changed?
