unable to save annotated video

Open shahidammer opened this issue 4 years ago • 5 comments

I am using the following commands to save the annotated video file:

To save it as an mp4 file.

python3 deepstream_lpr_app.py 1 2 0 /vol/btown.mp4 /vol/town.mp4 This command does not save the output file at all.

To save it as an h264 file.

python3 deepstream_lpr_app.py 1 1 0 /vol/btown.mp4 /vol/town.mp4 This way I am getting an H264 file but it's corrupt.

I think the issue is on the deepstream side itself. I used their filesink in the pipeline and it also gave corrupted output. need to raise the issue in their forums.

Have you solve the problem? I met the same issue, the saved video like output.264 or mp4 is only ~10-100kb , it seems to the sink have only save one image. But c++ version don't have this problem... However, I couldn't find something wrong in your code.

hello, could you save the right video file in your own demo? use the command: python3 deepstream_lpr_app.py 1 1 0 .... ....
