needs unit tests

the library needs unit tests to make sure updates won't break existing functionality and also to ensure code is working as expected.

I recommend Jasmine since it works on multiple environments and is popular.

Yep. Absolutely. I'm currently working on a rewrite from the ground-up; expect full test coverage.

An update, 18 months later... That test suite wasn't ultimately created and active development on Tim stopped (or paused?) quite a while back - see #17.
