Dialog to edit the fonts and line spacing

Open henkmosseveld opened this issue 11 years ago • 2 comments

When I change the Line Spacing, I have to unfold the tab by 'click-Section', click-Line Spacing, click-Increase or -Decrease':

changing line spacing - folded tab disappears after clicking once

When I click 'Increase' the tab disappears immediately. It would be quite convenient to be able to keep it in screen: clicking more than once means now a repeated 'click-Section, click-Line Spacing, click-Increase or -Decrease'.

I agree that it should be easier to increase the line spacing multiple times, but I don't think leaving a menu item open after clicking it is a good idea (I can't think of any applications that work this way). Ideally there will be a toolbar button for this, and/or a keyboard shortcut.

I never thought about that, but you're right: most menus close after clicking.

And PTE 1.7 has two button to increase and decrease. You see on screen what's happening. But a disadvantage is: it's difficult to find back your starting position.

Anyway, what I had in mind is something like this:

line spacing - preview

A sort of feature in the pop-up menu where you see exactly what you're changing with complete control. But of course I don't have a clue if it's possible/difficult to realize and how many work it will be to implement. But this could also work great for changing the Font, even perhaps in the same pop-up menu?

Another great feature would be the ability to increase the score and the font of the notes also, but again: perhaps (most likely) I'm asking too much......
