Please provide a valid configuration for MySQL log files

Please provide a valid configuration for MySQL log files. I found some info in your knowledge base, but was not able to make PimpMyLog able to show an existing mysql logfile with that settings. It says No log has been foundand `no new log found in 5000ms with 325K of logs, 0 skipped line(s), 5034 unreadable line(s).``

As MySQL is a quite common database it would be very nice if you would like to provide a valid configuration for how to monitor MySQL logs with PimpMyLog.
