I would like to be able to disable auto-capitalization. Edit: This might just be tied to my keyboard app's settings, though?
Works fine here using the master branches.

Looks like you already enforce 80 chars, except for URLs, which is common. Edit: An 80 char limit is great for split-screen use or smaller floating windows.

In the meantime you could use a more tailored font configuration file, eg.: https://github.com/polyzen/dotfiles/blob/master/workstation/.config/fontconfig/fonts.conf I haven't used 10-nerd-font-symbols.conf and don't have this issue.
