Feature Description

The documentation currently lacks a dense information page on what ports Polypheny uses, what they are used for or maybe which configuration options exist.

This hinders the fast deployment and provisioning of Polypheny in more restricted areas.

Use Case(s)

When operating Polypheny on a server behind a firewall or even a reverse proxy, the ports used for communication must be easy to look up to create certain rules or redirects.

Furthermore this would enhance the setup time since it would provide a more convenient way to start using Polypheny-DB

Possible solutions

Clear description of all used ports and their description alongside any system specific requirements . E.g.

  • 2CPUs
  • 4GB RAM
  • min. 10GB disk

Possible alternatives

where are these configurations mentioned? Like if I want to contribute to this issue, where can I find these system requirements so I can list them on documentation?

Hey @ritikBhandari yeah that is kind of the problem. We need to establish them first in a meaningful way. While the disk is easier to define, for RAM and CPU we first need to establish benchmark scenarios to define a recommended system environement to work on.
