This is a feature request.

Could it be that an option is added to Earmark so that the generated AST (Via Earmark.Parser.as_ast/2) could expose the line number at which the statement from which the AST originates?

@hickscorp Can you provide more details on the option you are looking for?

The term AST does not even exist in this codebase.
