Portal footer doesn't close when you click on another part of the page

Expected or Desired Behavior

I would like to see the footer close when you click somewhere else on the page.

Observed Behavior

If you click the non-footer area, the footer doesn't close.

  • Click on the footer to open the footer links.
  • Click on a part of the page that is not the footer.
  • The footer doesn't close.
