What Should Happen

When i apply the glossary filter view it should look like in the GIF.

What Actually Happens

It doesn't change when i save the view and doesn't apply the custom formatting.

It isn't a problem with the formatting but with the way a new view is created. From my default view of all items, i had to create new view, gallery, and then change the custom format. After that it worked. I also saved the view again with the same name to overwrite it and that made the changes persist.
