Request to display computers by default no longer works (menu Assets\Computers)

after customizing the Global View display with the wheel icon and adding an additional field created by Fields -> the display request for computers by default no longer works and does not display any computer. BUT !!, once this addition is made, IMPOSSIBLE to go back = The button (wheel) allowing the personalization of the global view disappears! ..
