Support Multiple Radial Axes In Polar Plots

Open ConnorNoddin opened this issue 10 months ago • 2 comments

Currently with plotly, there is no issue at all supporting multiple axes in cartesian plots.

However, with polar plots, it appears there can only ever be one radial axis. I have attached a few examples of what multiple radial axes might look like:

I was unable to find any workarounds to get this working currently.

This would be a very welcome addition for the data I am trying to represent.

Here is some discussion on doing it in Matplotlib

Thanks @ConnorNoddin - I agree it would be a useful feature, and I've added it to our backlog, but realistically it will be a long time before we can get to it. If someone in the community would like to prepare a PR, though, I can try to prioritize review. Thanks - @gvwilson
