Font size units missing in docs

Open madphysicist opened this issue 2 years ago • 1 comments

Looking at https://plotly.com/python/reference/layout/#layout-font, we see

size Code: fig.update_layout(font_size=<VALUE>) Type: number greater than or equal to 1 Default: 12

But what are the units of this number? Points? Pixels? cm? in? Experimentation shows that it's most likely points, but an official record of that would be nice.

Hopefully this doesn't take more than a couple of minutes. Thank you for your time.

FYI, if you look at the resulting SVG, you will see that the font is set in pixels.
