[plotly] Move sample apps data to data storage solution
Right now this repo, once cloned, is 1.73 GB, which is too much for the casual user.
We need to remove all data files from this repo such that it's a smaller download. Apps will need to download their own data on deployment or something...
It would make a lot of sense to keep the data in a storage solution and out of git (maybe just include a very small data sample in the app to make it easy to take it for a spin locally).
@nicolaskruchten what data storage options do we currently have at our disposal?
We have the full range of cloud storage options: Google Storage, S3, a second Git repo... whatever you like :)
@josegonzalez What do you think? Team up to put all those big data sets in S3, update the apps to go there instead and make nice small samples to ship with the apps in git (if and when S3 is unreachable or undesirable)?
also please note you'll likely have to blow this repo away and re-push the slimmed down version, otherwise the initial git clone size will not be any smaller as the files will still be in the history...
