When I run the example chat and select a websocket option, there console an error:

WebSocket connection to 'ws://localhost:9000/websocket/room/socket?user=yy' failed: Error during WebSocket handshake: Unexpected response code: 426

my Play version is 1.2.4, can you help me to solve this problem? Thanks

I think you can try the latest version like 1.5.0 or 1.4.4 , refer to this link https://stackoverflow.com/a/20584128 , which mentions that

The 426 response code on upgrade is appropriate for when your websocket client is not conforming to the WebSocket standard RFC-6455.
