libtool Version Mismatch error

In the even that the following error is seen during the make all stage of the install:

libtool: Version mismatch error. This is libtool 2.4.2 Debian-2.4.2-1ubuntu1, but the libtool: definition of this LT_INIT comes from libtool 2.2.6b. libtool: You should recreate aclocal.m4 with macros from libtool 2.4.2 Debian-2.4.2-1ubuntu1

Simply run the following command: autoreconf --force --install

Then rerun ./configure, make all, make install.
