Can't make it work

Hello!

I'm trying to use the imp.push object inside max for live, but Push display doesn't show anything, or just shows standart controls UI from Ableton.

Steps I did, assuming that Push2 is connected, and empty Ableton project is opened, and the imp.push lib is installed:

1. Add empty midi max for live device on empty midi track.
2. Create a new object with imp.push in it.
3. I can open help patch from the imp.push object, with noise example, but it doesn't affect actual device screen.
4. When I press "open" button - I receive an error message "can't open Push device" or something like this. When press close - nothing happens.

What am I missing? Should I make additional steps? Which? Thanks!

you need to shutdown push2displayprocess and activate imp.push before it restarts, is what im seeing mentioned online
