Buttons not appearing unless Page Editor is open

Describe the bug

In a couple of instances, buttons added to a page are not appearing unless the Page Editor is open. This is impacting packaged mods.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Install @pixie-britt/trello/update-due-date-from-checklist
2. On trello, create a card with a checklist
3. View the checklist

Actual behavior

The Update button is not shown unless the Page Editor is open

Expected behavior

The Update button is shown with the Page Editor closed
