Not working since v1.0.116

I tried upgrading to the latest version 1.0.118, but I encountered an issue where no app.log file is created during log initialization, and only *.log.gz files are generated.

I downgraded to version 1.0.115 and it worked fine.

Is there any change in the logging mechanism or something else that I might have missed?
