Extensions/Plugins possible

Hi,

did i miss anything? The documentation said that there is an extension mechanism, but when i looked into the source, it seems that its impossible now to extend phpmetrics (which is sad, since i wanted to write a plugin for php-cs-fixer/phpstan (checkstyle based)
