Update Toolbar Size on Widescreens (Desktop)
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. The V.2 toolbar is a bit larger than the proportions shown in the latest figma designs. The toolbar in the bottom left of the screen should be a little bit smaller to match the proportions shown in the latest figma design linked below.

Additional context issue #299
Hi @ilianamiltiadous, I am glad you picked this up. The original tool bar appears to have been made to the exact pixel size of the figma design, but the proportions don't match. I think this would be a good ticket to checkin with a designer to see what the orginal vision was and what tweaks are necessary to get us there. I believe @lxh5395 (or @loganhebert on Slack) worked on the desktop designs.
This issue is caused by the toolbar having a static size while screen widths vary. On wider screens, the toolbar may seem small. The toolbar was intentionally designed to fit smaller screens appropriately because a larger toolbar for on small screen would be problematic, but a smaller toolbar on larger screens wouldn't. To remedy this, we could introduce a widescreen breakpoint to make the toolbar larger on wider screens. Since the toolbar is not broken and follows the original design, I have removed the 2.0 tag to table this feature for a future release.
I'll take this!
