$location not importing properly into deferred bootstrap

$location with ui-router is imported and seems to work, but it breaks the core angular $location, such as the back button going to a third page. I assume this is because the state is not carried over and thus injecting $location into deferred boostrap confuses angular. If I have some time, I'll create a plunkr to try to duplicate this issue.
