keybinding to toggle multiline edition

I would like to suggest the addition of a keybinding to toggle, or on/off the mouse point/click multiline edition. Multiline is a great feature, but interferes with mouse based text wrapping and can make us edit lines of text by mistake and introduce bugs for free
