fix to make cnn run (for me)

I had to "copy" the variables from state since I got errors like APRIL-WORKSPACE-CNN-DEMO-SPACE-LEX::|trimgs| is unbound with the original code.

I was running off april in quicklisp (20211020-git), so maybe something changed that affect this?

I just tried the CNN demo and it worked fine with the latest April. Can you try with the latest and let me know how it works? The errors you're getting would reflect a compiler bug. If you're still having problems, what's the name and version of the CL implementation you're using?

I haven't heard from you so I'm closing this for now, the modifications apply to an old version of April that's incompatible with the current system. Let me know if you encounter similar issues with the current April.
