In CentOS 7, using VS Code to install extensions may result in this issue. Is it because the version is too low? My version is 19.

yes, may be your version is too old. current Erlang version is 27.

  1. You can see details, if you enable detailed logs, by activating this setting "erlang.verbose"
  2. Another way to solve is to install an oldest version of this extension
